This is totally read dependant but I get the feeling that he is trying to muscle you off and I think he is bluffing with midpair. This would be an easy push if you weren't deep.

I think I'd just call here. I'm not worried about giving a free card if I'm ahead since I have the big draw. Plus if a blank falls and he pushes into me I can get away if I think I'm beat.

I just can't see him realistically having a 7 here. Most likely he has an overpair to the board, or maybe worse ace, but with the FD to back it up, I think you have to go all the way with this hand.
