Default set of 9\'s \'\'extremely strong becomes terrifying vulnerable\'\'

Button is one of the multi-tabling TAG robots I'm playing a lot against: 15/10/ 4/3/4 over only 60 hands.

CO is my buddy: 83/0/ 0.3/0.4/0.6 over 70 hands.

what's our play at the river?
And if anybody is having trouble with the way I played the flop and turn, don't be afraid to discuss...

you should be raising this preflop.
On the river, I might bet/fold.

Check call and hope that button has AA.

I dont think that button would be that likely to cap the flop with AK or AQ.

KQ is a possability, but then I would have expected button to bet the turn.

So, I suspect that button has AA-QQ.

In passing, I would have preferred to raise preflop. But c'est la vie.

check, re-eval, and most likely punch mouse. Probably call 1 bet, not 2.

Trow a dice and go for either c/f, b/f or c/c on the river.

Agree with raising preflop, but why b/f river? I think c/c is certainly the better play.

I haven't read the replies (yet).

At first I wanted to check/call the river becaus of the fact that the TAG button must have flopped something, probably top pair or the nut flush. After giving it a bit of thought I would rather like to bet on the river for value (based on TAG-buttons call on the turn).

As I see it, the TAG-button could be holding AA, KK, QQ, AJ, KQ or QJ (based on preflop and flop action).
The call on the turn eleminates KQ (you abviously woule call a raise, so it makes no sense calling with the nut straight). He could now be holding AA, KK, QQ, AJ and QJ.

The only one of those that you don't beat is QQ...

yup, river bet it is...

---
After reading:
I still want to bet on the river, if TAG-button raises it, he is bluffing or has me thouroughly confused.

KK is also beating him. QJ is not a preflop raising hand for a 15/10 tag. AJ could be, but after the flop cap; probably not.

The only hand he can beat that the button can have is basically AA, and even if he is beating that the CO will often have a 8 or K.

after 3 limpers, he could start raising suited connector type hands.. depends on the tag.

since he will call with hands that he will not bet, bet-fold is the ideal line if you trust the fold part. check-call otherwise.

I didn't know 99 UTG is a standard raising hand, will start doing that now...

I decided to check and call if 1 back to me at the river, since the pot was big and the card was very scary I couldn't be sure enough the TAG wouldn't throw in a bluff-raise to bet/fold.

Si It went: check/ check/ check. and MHIG

Unfortunately it's not possible to see the mucked hands at showdown at this pokerroom skin.

Thanx for the replies.
