JJ preflop facing raise and call
I'm gonna play the hand, mainly because it's a $1 and they could have all kinds of random Ax or Kx, the question is do I raise or flat call?

Re: JJ preflop facing raise and call
I would question what our motivation is here. Genreally you should try to play optimally regardless of the stakes, otherwise why bring it up here for debate. That being said, do we have any information as to what type of player villain is? Without any information I would raise to 1200ish and re-evaluate after the flop. If villain re-raises, I vomit, then likely call, because you are right, at this low stake, loose plays are to be expected.

Re: JJ preflop facing raise and call
I call here, because I know if I reraise and get pushes, I'll convince myself that the odds are too good to fold jacks. I'd call and evaluate on the flop.

What do they call with if you push? I think pushing's probably best here.

I think I didn't raise enough to push anyone out... I think now that I should have flat called or pushed. But now, with that flop, first to act, do I just give up? |

Re: Flop... what to do now?
Yeah.. give up that flop. If the calling range you gave it right, then smooth calling pre is correct.

Re: Flop... what to do now?
The more I think about their calling ranges for a PF push, the more I think AJs+ and AQo+ are in there as well... but either of those hit this flop, so I still need to give up at this point..
Thanks for the responses, I need to work on this stupid c-bet every pot leak I have right now... |
