The Monster\'s Effect on $2/$4NL 6max
I did a statistical analysis on the effect of Party Poker’s new Monster promotion on $2/$4 NL 6max.
69,435 hands at Party $2/$4 NL 6max (pre Monster promo): Average player win rate was: -2.46 PT/BB/100 3,155 hands at a Party Monster $2/$4 NL 6max table: Average player win rate was: -3.57 PTBB/100 This represents a 45% drop in win rate (1.11 PTBB/100). In other words, the average player is losing $8.88 MORE per 100 hands compared with before the Monster Promo. Note that the average player win rate converges very rapidly. I would estimate that the error associated with my 3,155 hand measurement is about .2 PT/BB. Also, I am uncertain how much my presence at the table affects these numbers. I think it should affect them very little

I mean you can still win, but probably for about a half as much as you used to. My advice: Play anywhere else than Party right now.
