5/10 - 1 card flush
Here's a hand that I thought might spark some discussion. Villain is very aggressive, but I believe him to be a thinking opponent. Stats were something like 28/20/3.

Re: 5/10 - 1 card flush
did this happen tonight? lol
turn is great. river seems like a prety easy bet i mean if tjere are like 6 combos you are worried about (QQ/AA with heart) and you beat all other Kx, AA, 77-QQ. and yes they'll usually call all but the worst. but you are 1:1 very QQ/AA and anything else is gravy. seems easy. |

Re: 5/10 - 1 card flush
I'd bet the river, but I'd be interested to see what everyone would do if they get sexy'd here? I think it would be too much of a hand to throw away, but it would definitely suck.

Were you betting the river if it wasn't a heart?

did this happen tonight? lol [/ QUOTE ] Jba, this happened earlier today. [ QUOTE ] Were you betting the river if it wasn't a heart? [/ QUOTE ] Yes. This was sort of the point of me posting this hand. I wanted to see if people preferred to check behind, because we have showdown value (and I know some people hate facing a CR). But I guess the real question is, do we bet/call or bet/fold, and why? |

Re: 5/10 - 1 card flush
I don't see any other line to take other than bet/call on the river.

Re: 5/10 - 1 card flush
You are being trapped check behind.
"Stats were something like 28/20/3." this guy 3 bet you preflop, raised you on the turn when the flush hit and now with the fourth heart falling on the river checks. HUH? If we are contemplating bet fold here why isn't he? Guys like this don't check down scary boards they sexy them. You are behind here most of the time. I also don't trust guys with 3 agression factors that they won't try a bluff sexy from time to time. |
