A near death experience

I signed up for a $55 donkament at Party with hopes of making money to buy a bottle or two of Cristal and a little blow at some bangin' nightclub when I go to Italy this Thursday.

Turns out it was a LIMIT donkament. Holy mackerel. Can you imagine playing a FULL-RING limit donkament for nearly two hours and finally busting out with AA when someone rivers a backdoor flush on you? I bet you can't.

Every time I play in a LHE tournament by accident I simply cap every street and if I think I have the winner I fold the river.

I played a $55 donkament on party. Fortunately for me it was no limit.

Naturally, I busted out the very first hand.

standard for me involves raising everything on every street and proceeding to take chip lead in tourney. settling down and realizing, whoah, this could be a blessing in disguise.

then chiplead to out in like 2 levels.

i have yet to play a stud tournament where i wasn't cl after level 1, and out before the end of level 3.

I sprained my ankle playing soccer a month ago. It was swollen and purple for ten days. It didn't hurt nearly as much as playing this tournament. Playing a limit full-ring tournament really put things in perspective. Good for karma, I believe.
