Default middle set 99

Online 10-20, full ring

I min-raise J99x early, and the pot is 277 on flop which comes Jh 9x 2h. I (5k) pot, mp (5k) calls and now lp raises max to 1200ish and he has 900 left. Mp most certainly has a draw here, might be just nut-flush. I play aggressively, but the field was thick on this flop and lp knows it. He is decent, no other reads really.

Easy push, or just call, get mp to tag along and just push brick turns or play tricky even then? Anybody consider a fold?

I don't know why you would want this.

I'd push the flop, and expect MP to fold and LP to call with something like 8910j, maybe with hearts.

I wouldn't just call, because your out of position and the turn is likely to be scary even if it dosen't flush up .

Also, the fact that LP would not be allin will make it even more difficult to play the turn. MP and yourself are still pretty deep and that 900 left in lp stack could cause trouble if he is checked to.

I suppose he might want MP to tag along to fill the pot. If MP just has a flush draw, he needs around 4 to 1 and the pot is only offering him 3 to 1. If LP also has a flush draw, which is quite possible, he needs more than 4 to 1. Also, he gets an oppurtunity to get more out of him on the turn. Still, I dont like the play because its hard to put him on exactly a flush draw and the turn will be difficult to navigate.

Pushy push the flop.

If you are going to make small pot-building raises out of position I suggest you make it at least 3xBB but that is just my opinion. Judging by how donkish everyone thinks minraises are I think I might start doing it more.
