As we meet people and have new experiences, we find out new ways to do things that we wouldn't have figured out otherwise.

I'm talking about the little things that make life easier if you know how to fix the problem.

Here are my two.

Hiccups - Take a deep breath and then hold your nose with your fingers and don't exhale for as long as you can. They'll be gone in 20-45 seconds.

Screw Ironing - Say you have a dress shirt that just has a few wrinkles in it or jeans that are kinda messed up because you didn't hang them correctly. Soak a towel in water and stick the clothes in a dryer with the towel and the humidity created from the towel water will fix most of the wrinkles.

if you're out of hair gel and you MUST tame your wild locks, use Coke. The syrup/sugar dries a little sticky and works just fine.

For the towel/ironing: how wet should the towel be?

If you are having a fly problem around the house and don't have any pesticides/bug spray, just get some cooking oil and put them in little paper cups around the house. All the flies will die.
