Pretty ugly. (I know)

I'd probably squeeze out a fold but not be too happy with it.

How good/bad would be checking the turn and calling a river bet?

I would have checked the turn or bet something more like 20 for pot control. As played I think I make the crying call. It depends on the opponent. Readless I probably flip a coin.

Ugh, I don't think it's a good idea. As much as we'd love to keep the pot managable, there are too many hands we don't want to give a free card to.

I'm calling the river, because I think a set would have raised the turn. I think this is a retarded missed flush draw river bluff at least 25% of the time.

Edit: Okay, flush hit on the river. I can't read. Someone needs to invent a converter with a four-color deck.

It's closer to 1 in 3 than it is 1 in 4. I think that makes a small difference. Flop donk is usually a flush draw, and is worthy of a note on villian's permanent record if that's the case. In addition to the flush, he could have some other garbage that beats TPTK here. Villian would have to be capable of some high level thinking and know you well enough to make this play with a worse hand as your hand is pretty much face-up as a big Ace. IMO, I fold the river, and don't think twice about it.

*edit* as for the rest of the hand. I usually make it $7 or $8 against a lone minraiser in position. I think it increase your FE a bit, which is fine if he folds preflop. Flop bet size is barely acceptable, IMHO. I'd probably be making it a few bb's more. Turn is fine. I think you have to bet the turn here against what is usually a flush draw.

The obv flush hit (one w 2 on flop), which is why OP is considering a fold. I doubt he stuck around for the backdoor draw.

I do think you see worse hand the needed 25%+ of the time here though.
