Default Iron Maiden

In the recent 'Ask Daveymck about Heavy Metal' thread a lot of posters touched on how hard these guys rule. In fact, so much love was shown that Bill Murphy correctly pointed out that they deserve their own thread.

Pics, thoughts, concert trip reports, reviews- whatever. Discuss.

I have nothing to add except to say that yes, these guys rule (ruled?) extremely hard.

I saw them in concert in 1983/84. I think Twisted Sister opened for them. It was one of the best shows I have seen. Adrian played a very nice rendition of Hendrix's Star Spangled Banner.

I don't have much to add since I don't know much about these guys, other than the requisite singles that get radio play on classic rock stations. That being said, my dad works in north Africa and almost once every few months Bruce Dickinson pilots his plane. He's incredibly intelligent and I admire his numerous skills.

I hope he made the co-pilot wear an Eddie mask.
