1/2: Under-represented my hand in a 3-way pot
1/2 Pacific Poker 6-max (5 players). Hero is in the BB.
Preflop: Hero is BB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. 2 folds, Button calls, SB raises, Hero calls. Flop: A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players) SB bets, Hero calls, Button raises, SB calls, Hero calls. Turn: 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players) SB checks, Hero checks, Button bets, SB calls, Hero folds. If this pot was HU, the plan was to call down all the way. 4-way or more, I raise the flop. Here, I figured that no undercards would call, and I'm not pushing out a flush draw anyways, so I'll just call and play it like it were HU. When CO raised the flop, I put his range to any Ace, most of the Qs and a flush draw. Of course, lower PPs could be thrown in there as well. Thus, when the 3rd flush card came, I figured I wasn't in great shape and got out. I ran this through PokerStove, and given the ranges I put on villains, it looks like I should called down: Board: As Ah Qh Dead: equity (%) win (%) tie (%) Hand 1: 30.2747 % 27.34% 02.95% { KsQd } Hand 2: 29.8270 % 27.30% 02.54% { 66+, A4s+, K8s+, Q9s+, J9s+, T9s, A9o+, KTo+, QTo+, JTo } Hand 3: 39.8984 % 37.42% 02.49% { AA, QQ, AhKh, AhQh, AhJh, AhTh, Ah9h, Ah8h, Ah7h, Ah6h, Ah5h, Ah4h, Ah3h, Ah2h, KhQh, KhJh, KhTh, Kh9h, Kh8h, Kh7h, Kh6h, Kh5h, Kh4h, Kh3h, Kh2h, QhJh, QhTh, Qh9h, Qh8h, Qh7h, Qh6h, Qh5h, Qh4h, Qh3h, Qh2h, JhTh, Jh9h, Jh8h, Jh7h, Jh6h, Jh5h, Jh4h, Jh3h, Jh2h, Th9h, Th8h, Th7h, Th6h, Th5h, Th4h, Th3h, Th2h, 9h8h, 9h7h, 9h6h, 9h5h, 9h4h, 9h3h, 9h2h, 8h7h, 8h6h, 8h5h, 8h4h, 8h3h, 8h2h, 7h6h, 7h5h, 7h4h, 7h3h, 7h2h, 6h5h, 6h4h, 6h3h, 6h2h, 5h4h, 5h3h, 5h2h, 4h3h, 4h2h, 3h2h, A2o+, Q2o+ } How is my flop play? And should I have called down? |

Re: 1/2: Under-represented my hand in a 3-way pot
I like how CO came back from the dead to raise the flop.
I would raise the flop and push out CO. If you get three bet then throw it away. I might just fold this though. There has been a bet and a call and this guy is raising. Fish love to play Ax so I don't think you're missing out on any equity by folding. |

I like how CO came back from the dead to raise the flop. [/ QUOTE ] My mistake--the guy I labelled as CO was actually Button. |

I think not raising the flop is the error. If either SB or Button come back at you after you raise on the flop or turn I think it's safe to say your behind.
