Default I was told I played this 6-5s very poorly I highly disagree

The BB in this hand gave me alot of crap for this hand, said I was a moron and it was laughable I thought I played this hand well. I don't really see a problem here, do you?

On the turn I knew I had no FE, but I figured if I hit my draw let's get the money in on the turn, so there's no worries about him folding a river with a heart

Why are we even playing this UTG+1? Playing draws OOP is not a game I call fun.

As played, bet less on the Flop and check behind on the turn, taking the free card....if he's got any kinda hand, which he's indicating he has, then you'll most likely get all the chips is you hit anyway....you ain't chasin' him away.

point taken about the free card on the turn, would of saved me some money there.

On the flop I wasn't betting to build a pot but to win the pot right there, I don't understand why I would want to bet less here?

I kinda see your point, but I don't think this was TERRIBLE, maybe I just don't see it

I was 41% to win this hand and by pushing and getting him all in this pot, I'm getting the right odds on my money.

I think like MeanGreenTT said a check behind on the turn could have been better.

SB has J-10off here so without that Queen on the river, I don't get his money very often, unless it's the Queen of hearts or a Jack or 10 of hearts. And the near PSB on the flop I would hope would get him to fold...

what am I missing?

Risking $400 for maybe a 24% shot to posibly get an extra $400 if a heart hits which will often pay you off anyway makes absolutely no sense.

Also, while you are commited to your flush if it hits, you very well could be drawing against a bigger flush draw in which case a blank could save you $400. That opportunity is lost with the turn bet.

t300 most likely accomplishes the same as t450 and makes later streets easier.

How on earth do you see at best 15 outs 1 time as 41%? Do you really think the 5 or 6 are live? If they were, than certainly more of you heart or straight draws were dead.

hmmmm....

you maybe on to something, but in another post I left on here a couple days ago, players seemed to be advocating a "you gotta take chances mentality" in terms of early stages of MTT. Basically anytime you are 51% or higher, which I think a PSB on the flop gives us enough FE to swing it in our favor

it was rare my opponent having J-10o so I can see your point about not betting the turn in this spot.

What would you say if I suggested t300 would be standard or 2/3 on the flop, but PSB could be just as good too? I think I'm not really sure if one is more preferrable than the other. I definitely think PSB gives us more FE as on this flop betting less keeps other draws around, which we don't want
