How hot was it in your neck of the woods?
I live in the San Gabriel Valley (near L.A.).... high of 107 today. According to weather.com it's supposed to cool down all week and hit a high of mid 80's by the next weekend. Color me skeptical.
Oh and my A/C is pretty weak in this apartment, so I'm about ready to kill someone right now. How hot was it for you today?

Yahoo said it was 97 and felt like 105 when I checked around 6:30. That was about 15 minutes after the sky started pissing down rain, we must have gotten at least an inch.

According to my WeatherBug (TM) it only got to 117 today at the station a few miles from here. I say "only" because they registered 119 yesterday. On the other hand it's a dry heat, so I think it felt more like about 62. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

I think it got close to 100 and I live in SD.
It was 112 and raining for extreme humidity at my parent's house in riverside, CA - they also have had no power since 11am and are just frying.

Yea with my weak-sauce AC, i spent most of the day in the public library where it was a little TOO cold. Felt like a meat locker in there. Unfortunately for me, library's closed on Sundays so I don't know wth I'm going to do.... [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] On the other hand, the high is only supposed to be 102 tomorrow instead of 107, so I might have to bundle up in some blankets!

112 here in Sacramento. It's 91 in our house. Can't wait to start my 24 hour drive to Mpls on Tuesday.

I think it was about 98 here with 55% relative humidity which yields a 117 heat index.
I played a baseball game from 1-4pm. I had to pitch the final inning. Luckily I got the save. [img]/images/graemlins/cool.gif[/img] There's not much that is worse than playing 3 hours in that kind of weather and losing. [img]/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img]
