Default What are the Advantages of Neteller over Firepay?

Hey guys, not sure if this is the right forum, and if it's not, I apologize, but I've been going back and forth on this subject for a while now and I'm wondering your opinions. Currently I'm using Firepay, but I've been trying to setup an account with Neteller but there have been lots of little problems with them setting up the account (mostly because I'm young and my SSN didn't register as having ever been used in any sort of credit transactions). The also have not responded to me in about a week after they asked me to send them a good bit of info on me (pic of SSN card, driver's license, etc) so I'm wondering if it's even worth the hassle to switch over to Neteller. So far, I've had no problems with Firepay, and I'm wondering if it's worth the switch. Are the cashout times with Neteller that much faster than Firepay? Any other advantages to Firepay? Thanks for any info you guys have, I appreciate it.

The only advantage to Neteller is that some sites do not take Firepay. If the site that you play at takes Firepay then I see no reason to go through the hassle with Neteller.

I don't think you can get a FirePay debit card, like you can on Neteller.

One key thing, you can call a hotline and actually get someone from Neteller. For firepay, if there are any issues, the only way to contact them is by email.

I thought Firepay charged fees, where Neteller was free.

Firepay charges $4 per deposit from your bank account I believe. The funds are available immediately. I don't think there's a fee to withdraw (this might have changed).

Neteller charges an 8.9% fee (or something like that) for instant service. If you are willing to wait a few days to get the money deposited there is not a fee.

If I'm wrong, someone will correct me.

1. Neteller usually has higher limits at most sites. This might or might not affect you.

2. Neteller has good phone customer support. I've never had to wait on hold and the people I've spoken alway spoke clear english and understood my issues well.

3. Neteller allows inter-account transfers, although they do charge a 1.9% fee.

4. Sweet NETpoints useful in cash giveaways that I keep winning.

5. NETeller debit cards, although I don't have one. Contrary to popular belief, they hold no advantage when it comes to avoiding taxes in the US. So it's just as easy to put the funds in your bank account, pay your taxes and avoid the debit card fees.
