Default I put them all-in...

So... I'm sort of jumping on the NL bandwagon here. These two hands are from today. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

Villain was loose and somewhat aggressive. I didn't have too many hands on him, though.

1. I probably raise it to something like $16 on turn after his raise. I don't mind a push though.

2. I pot the flop. Turn is good, but I still make a little bigger bet. I'm not sure about river. If he is loose like, loose and does not raise straight or a set I like the river.

Getting raised is one of those things you shouldn't be too worried about when you push.

Don't like the turn push in hand 1, it's a massive overbet and folds many worse hands that might call a smaller raise. I raise to $15-20 and push the river.

Hand 2 I pot the flop, and if villain is really loose (like calling down with a lone 4) bet turn and push river. Otherwise I check behind turn and call/valuebet river.

Since CO only started hand 1 w/$22, pushing the turn is fine since he has already put in half his stack. I only push hand 2 if villain has called a push previously with a weak hand.

He was talking about the turn. If villain isn't the type of player to raise a set or straight on the turn, then he likes the river. OBV

Hand 1: Pretty standard. The turn push is fine IMO. CO obviously likes his hand, and I doubt $10 fewer is gonna make a huge difference as to whether or not he calls.

Hand 2: Villain has to suck really really bad for the river bet to be profitable. I'm probably checking it behind w/o a super strong read.

i agree with claunchy. hand 1 is fine, but i don't like the river push in hand 2 at all. what hands that we beat are calling? any hands that beat us like a set, or two pair or a straight are most likely calling since villain is LP. i check behind here.
