Default Post Your Summer Pictures

Here are some of mine...

I was hanging out with some of my girlfriends at the pool, and wandered into my friend's garden with my camera.

I had intended to shoot flowers, one of my favorite subjects, but instead discovered lots of bugs!
(and a tumbleweed type flower)

I escaped without getting stung, and got some pretty interesting pictures. I especially like the bumblebee covered in pollen.

I was using a 60mm macro lens and opened up the aperture-no tripod.

Visited an old friend in West Virginia and relaxed around the farm. My dog is jealous when I return.

These were from a Tibet trip report I never got around to finishing.

Prayer wheels.

Girls selling jewelry outside the Pudala temple, the center of church/state in Tibet.

Yak butter lamps.

Monks at lunch.

While walking on rooftops.

One of Tibet's holy lakes.

Goats!

Ying-Yang style hotpot involving said goats (and yak).

Nature is beautiful.

Then I went to a concert.

Take one last look at nature.

And one last look at the structures (Dalai Lama used to live here)

Then they kick me out. But I'll be back!
