Default PokerShare sends a chimp to the WSOP

I just got an e-mail from PokerShare.

http://www.monkeyshare.net/

The e-mail is more detailed, but this is the gist of it.

While I'm thinking this is a great marketing scheme, I'm wondering what it'll do for the image that poker has in the States right now.

I wonder if you could buy a piece of the chimp's action on Ebay?

I wonder if he plays Kill Phil?

I believe it would be good for poker if either a woman OR the chimp wins the WSOP. Maybe Mikey will be more well-behaved than Phil H.

Oh lord, I can imagine what Jim McManus thinks of this. I can just see him telling the monkey he's disrespecting the game, only to get hit with a pile of monkey crap.

"only to get hit with a pile of monkey crap."

20 minute penalty

I can see many players testing to see if they can Tilt the Monkey.

One likely Mikey strategy:

Mikey collects his two down cards, without looking at them, places a card protector on them. He sits until the dealer gives that open hand "it's on you Sir" motion and the chimp pushes allin. Sitting on the chimp's left is big here, but 99 is still a tough hand to play.

Then there is the tight monkey strategy. He never plays a hand and complains that his blinds always get raised. This gets him alot of camera time and he doesn't have to deal with possibilty of stacking chips with the above wild monkey strategy when he cracks KK with 73o.

A modified startegy of looking at the first card, which stands a good chance of being flashed, but not looking at the 2nd card and pushing on any ace could get the chimp to the 2nd day.

Now if the chimp doesn't play a couple of rounds and reraises(3X raise) vs a button steal raise while in the big blind then if playing at that table I would ask, "Where is this table in the breaking order?".
