Default Safety of Providing Identification to Online Casinos?

I've never done any casino bonuses because I am worried about the potential for abuse of my identity.

Does anyone worry about giving a copy of their ID/bank statements to various online gaming sites? Do you delete certain information?

If you really worry that much, you can change/forge anything you want as long as you can make it appear somewhat authentic. These aren't governed by US laws or anything (obviously) so providing faulty information isn't an issue legally, you just need them to believe it's real so you can get your money.

I've done this to change my address to match a fake one before (as I hate junk mail from casinos) without a problem. One casino (Will Hill) called me out on doctoring the image, so I fixed it up and made it look better and had it go through without a problem.

Most only require a copy of your drivers license, and what can they with that that?

Any other place I've sent into I've blacked out any improtant numbers (dont "doctor it" thats stupid). All they want to see is your name and address to make it harder to do the bonus multiple times.

Eh, blacking out, doctoring, it's all the same... Plus I hate using my real address for this kind of thing, and you can easily doctor these things without them noticing if you really care...

I blacked out the DL # and never had any problems with my ID being rejected.
