Default Hi All, new here

Hi all, first post. Been playing short handed limit for a while now, picked it up in January started with .50/1 and now playing 1/2. So far I have been maintaing a LAG/TAG line 30/21 2.8, but my win rate hasn't been to great. I have almost 20k hands and these are at 5/MAX Poker Room. I realize poker room charges more rake than stars or party so my rate would likely be better there, but there must still be some leaks in my game I'd like to fix. The bonus has been good lately at ongame so I took my game there, although perhaps it would be better to play at stars or party for lower rake. Here are the stats for almost 20k hands starting from May 1, 2006.

Well, you probably know that it's hard to win with that 30/20 style unless you're really good postflop. Plus, I can't imagine you're stealing the blinds enough at 30% considering how your PFR is 21%. 30% would be low even for a 26/18 style. Seems to me like you're defending your big blind too much as well.

Oh, and welcome!

You need to find more folds. You're a bit of a showdown monkey, which is very very costly at 2/4.

The alternative is move up to 20/40 and you'll probably be fine since your game seems to assume everyone's a lagtard.

Hey dude,

Post hands. "correct" stats does not necessarily equal winning play... you'll get more out of dissecting hands and situations, and getting input from other players.

Whoa, I didn't see the WtSD...a full 5% higher than mine. But I should probably go to showdown a bit more often.

I did some quick analysis and most of my 6/max stats would indicate I am a 26/18 AF 2.65 player. I'll try to do some further hand analysis in the future.
