Default Poker Endurance Challenge (running now)

Another 2+2er and I are having a challenge this weekend. We are playing an on-line marathon. The winner is the last player still playing. here are the rules...

1)Start time 12:00pm (noon) Friday the 20th. The challenge will run until one player stops playing poker.
2)There will be no breaks. Players are allowed to go to the bathroom and to prepare food. Players must have tables open and be seated (sitting out) durring these times.
3)Players will be required to have at least 4 tables up, be seated, and playing from 12:00pm (noon) until 12:00am (midnight). From 12:00am (midnight) to 12:00pm (noon) players may reduce the minimum number of open tables to 3. This is to compensate for poor game selection for most of the off peak hours.
4) Players must play at Party Poker for the marathon. Players may play at any other site but only in addition to Party Poker and as long as the minimum number of required tables is being met on Party Poker.
5) Minimum stakes that can be played are as follows:
Limit ring games: .50/1.00
NL ring games: $25
SNGs: $10+1
MTTs: $5+1
6) Any combination of minimum stakes can be used so long as the minimum number of required tables are being met.
7) Players will remain in contact durring the duration of the marathon via IM or goole talk.
8) Players may not be seated/playing at the same table at any time.

down to 3 tables overnight because of game-selection?
On a weekend?

I played 7-10 tables during a 21-hour stretch in my cruise-marathon a couple weeks ago.

Getting to cut down to 3 tables overnight is for wimps.

That's the minimum REQUIRED. Nothing states that you have to.

Yes...but you are allowing them to back down just because of table-selection in the overnight hours.

10k-20k players on party during the overnights (and more on weekends).

You can play as low as .5/1 for the challenge.

I think it shouldn't be too tough to find 4 reasonable tables.

I'm not the one doing the challenge though (you really didn't give much notice...but I think I'm still recovering from my XMas weekend torture-test anyway).

I see your point. They're simply the rules we agreed upon.

Hmm, I'm considering it but the 4x tabling thing kind of sucks. I like to have decent reads and i dont get them at 4tables... 2 is ok...

Hmmm, what time does this start here in UK(GMT?). I've got a bonus to clear at Party so ill be up for it if you change it to 2tables max ?
