You are nowhere close to a casino. I think your best option would be Biloxi, MS (3 hours) and the Imperial Palace or the Beau Rivage if you are going after August 29.

I think there is some sort of dog-track or something with one of their famous $1/$2 limit games (they aren't allowed to spread higher in Florida) but that might be an hour or two away.

I head down to Destin about 3-4x per year (from Memphis) to vist my family.
I'm not completely familiar with all of the surrounding area, etc. But I'm pretty sure there really isn't any live poker very close to there.

I don't think there any in the panhandle. But like MicroBob said, state law mandates a $2 max bet and the vig on the tournaments is ridiculously high. Check out this website: http://www.floridacardplayer.com/

There is a 1-2limit game that runs at the Ebro dog track near Panama City though I'm not sure if it's everyday. They also run no limit tournaments but I'm not sure what the buy-ins are. Other than that though, your best bet for real casino poker is Imperial Palace in Biloxi about 2.5 hrs away.

I live near Destin and Biloxi is the best bet. Ebro is as stated $1, 2 Limit with a 5% rake on first $50. They do have STT and MTT,you never know which as they seem to change all the time, buy in is $45. they rake $13. of that.

Nearest Indian Casino is Tampa. You're closer to Biloxi, which is a real casino anyway.

Ebro, FL. Decent dog track and poker room. Lots of bad players and action there. Drinks aren't comped but are cheap. However, as Bob said, all they have is 1/2 LHE. I can't remember if they spread stud or Omaha, but it's 1/2 Limit if they do. No NL.

About 90 minutes away.
