Default WFA/MMA Lines:

Since Swope's last post turned into a Hughes vs.GSP debate, here are the odds for this Saturday's WFA event.

Sportsbook.com

Quinton Jackson -220
Matt Lindland +180

Bas Rutten -600
Kimo Leopoldo +400

Ivan Salaverry -400
Art Santore +300

Lyoto Machida -800
Vernon White +500

Rob McCullough -550
Harris Sarmiento +350

Jason Miller -600
Lodune Sincaid +400

WOW heavy on the chalk.

Can we please keep this post's discussion on WFA only and UFC or Pride possible fights.

Looks like I'll save my money for Gatti/Baldomir on Sat.

if you bet the underdogs across the board on this fight youd be pretty ev+ imo

I was thinking the same thing, besides Lindland, who is not that big of a dog every other fav is overpriced.

I'd agree the favorites are overpriced across the board, despite the +EV lines on the dogs, who of the underdogs do you actually give a significant chance of pulling the upset here?

I guess i've got to say I agree with a comment from the other thread - while I'm eagerly anticipating this event, I think you've got some pretty clear winners across the board. Lots of good names, but not a lot of competitive matchups outside of Rampage / Lindland, and that could certainly go the way of Rampage / Randleman in 2003 - i.e. domination by Rampage start to finish - as well.

I might just lay some money on all the dogs...some are bound to come thru.

Also, Kimo just spent some time in Brazil training- and supposedly his BJJ skills are better than ever right now. I'll take +540 for the chance that he is able grab a loose arm or ankle and finish this.

You should check the other MMA/WFA thread because there is info on Kimo being removed from the Bas Rutten fight due to positive steroid test.

I like Verron White as the nice dog bet. This Lyoto has only a handful of professional fights (albeit some VERY nice wins), but Veron White has fought over 30 professional fights and fouht many of MMA tops fighters. White COULD pull a shocker and spoil Lyoto's US debut.

Kimo was replaced by Ruben "Warpath" Villareal. Who? Yeah.

I like skill over experience, so I see Lyoto easily beating White.

Ricco is now a fat ass:

The crazy thing is Ricco is in better shape now then he was about 10 months ago. He supposedly lost 40lbs leading up to this fight
