Default QQ limps UTG+1 and gets a 3b on a low cards flop

Hello,
I'd like some feedback about how I played this hand.
Now I think:
1) Flat call UTG+1 with a call already made by player UTG was bad.
2) Folding on the flop was a good thing to do.
I had no read on the Villan, what do you think? Being BB he could had almost anything.
TIA & Regards ...

Compulsory to raise preflop. I would call and evaluate on the turn, altough that is a massive OB.
Can't really say much else than that you really need to raise preflop.

Please please raise to .5 pf.

What are you putting Villain on here that makes you fold a big overpair? I think folding here is really weak. If you're putting him on a set or 56 that's way to narrow of a range. I'd put villain on hearts way before I put him on a set. Why would villain bet 3x pot w/ a set here?

As for what you should do, I'd probably just call the flop bet and reevaluate on the turn. If the turn is a brick I probably want a lot of money into the pot.

I raise it .5 PF. By not raising it preflop, your now in a dilemna, you don't know what villian has.

Anyhow I'm raising the villian's bet to $2, and if I'm reraised I'm going all in.

I agree, I wouldn't fold after the flop. I think the over bet is a scared bet. Maybe BB is thinking you limped in with a suited ace and doesn't want you drawing. A raise would tell you where you are. He could have two pair. I wouldn't be so quick to go all in if reraised.

Raise preflop, that will reduce the likelihood of BB having almost anything.

Call the flop bet.

If turn is a [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and he bets a decent amount, fold. If he checks, pretend you just hit your flush and bet (if he check/raises, fold). If the turn is not a [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] bet/raise.

RAISE PRE FLOP, RAISE PRE FLOP
Everyone agrees on that, but I had to get my self in troubles again. Now I limped UTG with Kings, and this hand went to a showdown, and I lost.
So, I will remember now, RAISE PRE FLOP, RAISE PRE FLOP.

Do you think it is ok to limp once in a while with a premium pair? Under which conditions?

Limp maybe in later position, when a raise may not get anyone off the hand, or if either blind raises, you can repop it after the limpers.

The only PP that I'll limp in late posistion are AA, other than that I'm raising.
