Hoffa Question

Forgive the relatively low content nature of this post, but I figured this forum's members were the most qualified to answer this. When I asked this in OOT a while back, no one responded.

In the movie Hoffa, I don't recall the name of the mobster Hoffa meets with ever being mentioned. If it is, correct me. If not, who would that be, historically speaking? I have always thought it was meant to be Sam Giancana, but am not sure.

its been a long time since i saw the movie or read any mob/hoffa books...but look into red dorfman (sp?) and the teamsters...also, the sam giancana bio "double cross" mentions his relation with hoffa...
