Need last minute moving help

I am moving my girlfriend from Pensacola, FL to Harrisburg, PA this weekend. We thought we had a free/cheap rental SUV/trunk procured from her brother who works at Enterprise. We were planning on towing her car behind via a UHAUL tow dolly. She called her brother today (they live a few hours apart) to make sure everything was good to go and much to my surprise, he said that he might not be able to get us a vehicle.
Now it's 3 days before I fly down to Florida and we don't have a vehicle to drive here in that can tow her car. Driving her car is not an option btw as it's not mechanically sound at the moment. I have priced out Uhauls and Budget rentals and it's going to be $700+ for a truck/tow dolly. While I can afford this, I hate spending that much for something I am going to return 2 days later....
Long story short, does anyone have any cheaper suggstions on how to move someone cross country when I only have 3 days to plan? I need a vehicle that can hold a dresser/computer table and a fish tank as well as a bunch of clothes and general 'girl crap,' as well as a tow dolly/trailer to bring her sub 3k lb car up here.

While considerably cheaper than the current options I am faced with...I think I'll hold out on both of those until I am completely out of options.

Any other ideas?

I find it unlikely that Enterprise ran out of SUV's, so I would pressure your gf's brother to find a vehicle for you. Either way, it's got to be cheaper to rent an SUV for a day or two and drive like mad. Just make sure the rental company doesn't screw you over since you're returning the vehicle in Harrisburg instead of back in Pensacola.

Another option may be to try to find some shared moving space if someone happens to be moving from Pensacola to Harrisburg area and has some extra space on the truck Try Craigslist or call around to some moving companies. Probably won't help with the car moving, but you can always leave it behind and get it fixed in Pensacola.

We've been dating for ~8 months. The timing was right for her as she hates her job and is kinda undecided what to do with school at the moment. We're young and in love and I have a good job going for me right now. I also found a great deal on a nice apartment and am ready to move out of my parents house.

I already purchased my plane ticket. It's a not so crazy idea I thought about though.
