Re: can u teach me how to play limit?
fold preflop. This is not the hand you want to go to war with.
*But, if you are on mad monkey tilt, Raise preflop folding>raising>calling. I love the reasoning. "I had to stop him stealing my blinds so I finally called him!" lolomgwtfhaveaburrito LLL * your mileage may vary |

Re: can u teach me how to play limit?
This is the type of the board where many neutral to aggrressive players with Ace, King high are going to call you down.
Analysis boils down to be one of those what type of player is he and what does he think I am as a type of player. If this player has a high WTSD% then you are just spewing here. With that proviso if you are going to run the bluff: I like a flop c/r here. I think it gives more value to your bluff than donking does. You obviously lost this hand when called but you had decent odds 5:1 on your river bluff so I think once you get there you have to fire the 3 barrel. Again you could look at folded river to single bet stat. Upfront there needs to be more thought on your part as to what type of player this is and consideration of his post flop tendencies. That ultimately determmines whether you made the right play here not what actually happenned. Depending on how the villain sees you depends on whether he made the right play. If he sees you as tricky or aggreesive he was right to call down. Maybe he plays the board. At any rate now you have a read on him and he has a read on you. Make sure you value bet for the rest of the session. After what you just did he will call you down very light. As an aside you said in you OP that you laid down the previous 5 blinds - you must of had a better calling hand than 46o. |

c/c, c/r? edit: lol @ Jh, never mind. c/c c/c [/ QUOTE ] lol nvm again, c/c c/f on a non heart I think checkraising or donking has merit on the turn. On the flop forget about it, though, because you'll get called down too much. |
