Default Party NL25 noob - YALP trying no limit

I'm Yet Another limit player trying no limit.

On this hand, button is the table donator (83/11/0.8) who'll call down any hand with TP or middle pair if the bets don't go too high. He'll only bet when he has the near nuts. UTG+1 (38/0/3.0) is a much trickier player, who has been limping a lot to take off button and some other guys.
I've been playing fairly tight, roughly according to HOH1.

Standard for preflop raising is 4x+1 for every limper in front of you.

You are short stacked with as few as 7 outs, and as many as eleventy billion. Push.

1 - Reload prehand, your stack is too short
2 - Make it at least $1.50 to go preflop
3 - Given your reads, just call, see if button will come along

Yeah, it's going well, in that I'm not spewing thousands of dollars every time I sit down.

Thanks, I have to get used to the reload thing.

In the hand, I pushed, UTG+1 called, QQ held up ...
(I'm the 48% underdog, so I guess the push is sort of OK here)

I mostly play shorthanded, and this is usually a push situation. In this hand, you may want to do the "limit" thing and just call, hoping for overcalls. Keep in mind though, that on the flop, you likely have the most equity of the 3 players, and theres a lot of dead money in the pot. A push here is definately the best play. (Especially with the size of your stack)

Looks like a push to me. Not much to do if he was lucky to hit a set.
