Default NL50 - Blind war in a 3-way hand

Villain is a semi-solid TAG after 200 hands. Stat wise he's 24/8/2 with a WSD of 21%. He plays a fairly unimaginative game, and I've seen him make significant mistakes in his post-flop play. My gut feeling is that he's fairly new to the game.

Prima 0.25/0.50 NLHE 6-max (3 players)

Stacks:
Hero - 116.37
BB - 47.50

Hero is SB w/ A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Preflop: Button folds, Hero raises to $2.25, BB raises to $12.75, Hero calls

($25.50) Flop (2 players): 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Hero.......?

As I'm reviewing this hand three days later, my pre-flop play puts my teeth on edge. It's possible villain has a big PP, but it's also possible that villain thinks I'm raising really light in this situation (he'd be right lol) and he's popping me back with garbage. His re-raise is pretty strong here. My gut feeling is he's got either a monster or garbage.

This flop is the most perfect flop I could ask for. But villain's stack size doesn't give me any room to manuver.

All told, I need a better line here.

I know you think he may have a PP, but with two overcards and nut flush draw I potting the flop or going all in.

Folding preflop is fine.

Pushing flop is good.

Better line = fold to PF reraise.

As played, both b3b (more likely bet/call AI) and CRAI would probably work just fine. Unless villain has complete cheese he's not getting away here. I'm leaning towards the CR, but I'm not really sure.

Would you say that folding here is the preferred choice? Or is it closer to a coinflip?

Heh...now that I got there, pushing is really the only option here, given villains stack size.

I don't have the energy to do the math right now -- calling poin or pokester -- but given Villain's range, it's got to be close. But I'll still muck.

I muck PF every time. Do you feel confortable playing an
A 9 2 flop to the wall?

For the hand, I push. You are coinfliping, but have some nice FE.

The answer is...it depends

If villain is 3-betting me light here, then yes, I'll take it to the felt, no problem, ESPECIALLY on a A92r flop.

If villain is an unimaginative nutpeddler, then HELL NO, I'm not playing that flop.

The problem is, this particular villain fits somewhere in between the two scenerios, which is why I'm posting this.

But I think that mucking this pre-flop EVERY time just because you should "never play for your stack with just top pair" is probably not the ideal play.

I'd much this PF unless villain is a maniac. Easy shove flop.
