MansionPoker $60 million Winner Take All

Most of you probably know about the 6-person $10 million buy-in winner take all tourney that will be played in July. Here is a link

Ivey was the first participant announced and they are to announce another competitor every month. I've read that there will be 4 pros and 2 online qualifiers.

The 2nd person was supposed to be announced at the Aussie Millions, I think. But I can't find anything that says that another was announced.

Anyone have any news on this?

i read about this thing in the latest cardplyer. this is riduclious, theres got to be something more to it then what meets the eye. $10 million is a lot of million, no way anyone is dumb enough to play in a 6 player $10 million tournment. i know phil ivey is a gambling man and has a pretty big bankroll but $10 mill is too much for him. like scotty nguyen said "this is too much for you, you can not call baby"

Thanks for the link to the article. I'll believe it when I see it. I doubt if Phil Ivey put up the money himself so naturally someone is paying his freight. Name me six other players that could get $10M worth of investors. Especially with all of this 'shot clock' nonsense.

Here's who has the money to actually buyin to the tournament although some I doubt would.

Larry Flynt - Not a Holdem player but has the money to take the gamble.

Jerry Buss - Has the money and plays mostly holdem. Could happen.

Doyle Brunson/Chip Reese - Need I say more?

Andy Beal - Big possibility. Always up for a challenge in big high stakes games.

I'm not as sure about the financial status of Ted Forrest.

Barry Greenstein - Probably has the money but would take a huge chunk of his bankroll.

I think I recall reading that the pros would be Ivey, Hachem, Jen Harman and Todd Brunson. The same source said there were many applicants and the producers got to pick and choose.

so the WSOP ME is like a MTT Satellite for this. Well, 3/4 of the buy-in anyways.
