$25 Turbo - Blinds Battle
This hand kept me from sleeping for quite a while last night.. .sad.
Anyway, I felt I botched it up completely and need some opinions. The only info i can provide is that it was the first time SB has raised my blind. I know that much. Maybe I should start paying attension instead of checking out 2+2 between hands. I notice now how weak my turn bet looks, and it must have looked that way to the SB. His raise is relativity tiny, which makes me think he was weak also, and was just trying push me off my weak hand as cheaply as possible. What's my action? |

Re: $25 Turbo - Blinds Battle
If you are checking behind on that flop, why are betting that turn? His turn check gave you infinite odds to hit the nut.
PF - okay. you could push it if SB is a donk that isn't trying to get a call (read?). but a call is okay since you have position. Flop - check behind good Turn - check behind please. |

Re: $25 Turbo - Blinds Battle
Unless I had a better read that SB was tight, I would have pushed pre-flop.
Not having done that, I would have checked the flop and turn, because I would want the free card to improve my hand. You must check particularly on the turn, because you really need to see that last card. Pushing would be better than betting small. |
