Default 6 Card Omaha in Vegas??

Do any casinos spread this game??

Heading over for the WSOP and since I love playing this game (it is a very popular cash game here in the UK in B&M casinos) I was hoping to get some action in vegas. Does anywhere spread it?

Doesn't exist. O8 with 4 cards rarely goes anywhere now except a couple of places that spread it regularly.

You'll have to request that the floor start an interest list.

I've never heard of 6-card Omaha. Wouldn't the dealers have to be trained in a game before a casino could spread it? Plus, the game would need to be played short-handed, which I can't imagine the casinos like.

Not according to Harrahs. The players train the dealers nowadays, cuz Harrahs sure as hell wont. /sigh

Thanks guys.

I have heard this game referred to by american players before - the guy I was speaking to said that its called "crazy omaha" in america.

Its not hi lo split or anything. Its just pot limit omaha with hi hand scoops the whole pot. You just get 6 starting cards instead of the usual 4. Its very fun and gamble tastic, the pots get large very quickly as you might imagine and everyone is chasing everything. You can play with up to a 7 handed game which is not really that shorthanded. Try it sometime in a homegame - you might like it as a new variation....

Its a very popular game in B&M casino cash games in the UK and ireland.....I was hoping to maybe bring it to vegas on my WSOP trip LOL

I doubt it will get spread as if I'm not mistaken don't the casinos have to have a placard available to show what game at the table is playing, or can they just make one up using duct tape and construction paper?

and theres no way a casino would run a game 7 handed only, maybe if it was part of a mix game.

Wow, and I thought 5-card omaha was an over-the-top donkfest.
