Default Stars 10 player nl cash Tables?

Am I the only one who really wants these? I don't think I've ever seen it mentioned in here.

All in all I would agree with the notion that Stars is the best product online - but the oddity of having 9 max nl tables and not 10, tarnishes it a little. Especially since, given that they've introduced these new themes, resizable tables etc and there's talk of adding new games - I can't imagine it would be all to difficult to do.

In fact there must be a reason why they chose to go with 9 player tables in the first place - I'd appreciate it if someone let me know what it is/was.

I'm pretty sure that NL cash-game has generally always been played 9-handed.
Why that is I'm not exactly sure. But it dates to pre-internet-poker and I think that poker old-schoolers will tell you that other sites are in the wrong for having their full-ring NL cash-game tables at 10-handed.

Pretty sure I saw Randy Refeld make such an explanation previously because otherwise I'm pretty sure I would have not know this at all.

I don't see why anyone would prefer 10 person tables to 9. Casual players get in more hands/hour, winninng players can have a higher WR, and the site geratets more rake/player. Isn't like all casino rooms like this? I'm <21 so I wouldn't know, but I'm pretty sure that barring an unexpectedly higher turn out MTTs do this.

Incorrect. Wynn, Mirage, and others spread NL games 9 handed.

10-handed is defintely preferable to 9-handed. One of the main reasons I play Party over Stars..

I've played both live, and honestly, I see zero difference in playing styles. Although, as soon as a 9 handed game loses 2 players, 2 nits always chime in that the game is "too short" whereas a 10 handed losing 2 players, they barely notice.

For the people out there whose main game is 6-max (thats probably most of you), you wont be able to notice. For a full ring specialist like me, I can definitely tell the difference..
