Default Freakonomics Author Needs Serious Poker Players Jul 21-27, Las Vegas!

This post is with the express consent of Mason Malmuth.

Freakonomics Author, Professor Steven Levitt is conducting a series of experiments in Las Vegas from Jul 21-27. You will be required for approximately 1 hour, to play a game of skill against either a fellow poker player or a computer. Remuneration will be extremely high for an academic experiment plus a signed copy of Freakonomics.

Please PM me with details of how many hours poker you play in a typical week, and what games/stakes. I will get back to you in a couple of days with details and a suggested time for you to participate.

I will also do my best to answer questions in this thread.

In your PM please also mention which dates you will be in vegas, and what times would be most convenient for you to undertake the experiment. Also, please provide an alternative form of contact if you prefer that I dont reply by PM.

You can still free to IM me if you want.

What ever happened to the first analysis? I remember sending in 50K limit hands about a year ago, I got the book, but I was really interested in seeing your results. Are you still in the process of completing the study?

Bump to say that a bunch of 2p2ers have already played and had a blast doing so, and that we are easing up on operations so please email levittpoker@gmail.com ASAP to reserve your place!
