Foxwoods mixed game action
I'm going to be spending most of tomorrow at Foxwoods to get out of this brutal f'n New England heat wave that's coming. Despite not having any success in the past, I'm going to try to get a low limit mixed game started, most likely 4/8 H.O.E. I have no expectations that it will actually go, but it can't hurt to try. If anybody here has any interest let me know and I'll put your name on the list when I get there, which will be sometime around 10 AM.
Also, does anybody know what the status of the omaha/8 game is? I think I heard the nit-filled 5/10 game is no longer there and has been replaced by a less nitty 2/4 or 4/8, but this was a while ago. |

Re: Foxwoods mixed game action
DayTrippin, I was there last Thursday, and spent 12 hours there. Anyhow the only omaha/8 game that was being played at the time was 4/8 w/ a half kill.
It looked like there was at least one big winner at the table. He had over $800 by the time I left. When I got there he had only about $250. I watched on and off for about an hour, and it was a very loose aggressive table, on at least 3 occasions betting was capped preflop. There's more NLHE than any other game being played now. Good Luck |

Re: Foxwoods mixed game action
In most places I've played the low limit Omaha games have been gold. I've never played at Foxwoods though because in the old 5/10 game the nit factor seemed so out of control (i.e. floor being called every 5 minutes, 70 year old locals chewing eachother and dealers out) that I wouldn't want to subject myself to that mess even if it did result in a win.
