Default WPX rake question

is the rake at WPX contributed or rake/#players. Must you put into the pot to have it count as your rake?

rake/# of players, no you don't need to put money into the pot.

rake/# of players. I have run experiments on this to confirm it and have documented proof that it is correct.

Read the 300 other threads on WPEX in these forums. The question and answered has been posted a ton of times here. Probably would be easier than getting people arguing the same point over and over again.

Better yet, right below this one, the WPEX GM started a thread to ask these questions.

So does WSEX support but they are wrong. It's rake / #players.
I played one hand (.25 blind), folded on the flop, pot ended up hitting $20 and I got .48 -- more than I even contributed.

I hope they change it to award rake on each betting round based on who's still in the pot, that would give everyone back their 'fair' share and may losen the games up since they favor tight play right now.

I prefer it the way it is because no one really knows that looseness is punished (surely the mostly loose fish dont know), and im naturally a very tight player, so it really helps me out.

I'm a tight player as well, but I make alot more from loose players than I do from 100% RB from 90% tight players.

yeh but you see, the loose players are mostly fish and dont understand how rakeback works, so changing the rakeback so that it benefits loose players more wont really matter since they wont notice..
