The Straight of Idiots
Fairly new to the table so yay but the table seems a tad LAG.
Party Poker 0.50/1 Hold'em (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) Preflop: Hero is BB with 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. 1 fold, MP calls, CO calls, 1 fold, SB completes, Hero checks. Flop: (4 SB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players) SB checks, Hero bets, MP raises, CO calls, SB folds, Hero calls. Turn: (5 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players) Hero checks, MP bets, CO raises, Hero calls, MP calls. River: (11 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players) Hero... So my flush draw turned into the ass end of a one-card straight. I'm thinking check and go for the overcall here, but am I missing a better line? |

Re: The Straight of Idiots
Check/call is what I'd do. I've learned to despise 4-to-a-straight on the board. Hateithateithateithateithateit

Re: The Straight of Idiots
I dunno about the flop donk. If the table is LAG, you're going to get raised/isolated a lot on this hyper-coordinated-in-the-playing-zone board. You're also never taking this down right now. Check and see what happens.
c/c works for me on the river. It doesn't check through very often, and i hate it when we get raised. |
