Why no SH 3/6 on Stars?
Sorry if this has been brought up before but...
After about a year and a half working my way up through SNGs I decided to switch to NL cash b/c I realized the moneymaking opportuniites were greater, so I started at NL100 6-max, then moved to NL200 and am now at NL400. There are an abundance of SH tables at these limits, but in NL600, Stars only allows two to run. What gives? I'd like to be able to move up to NL600 SH (I 8-table BTW), but it isn't even possible. Oh, and Party isn't really an option for me (despite the listed average pots, Party seems way tight IMO). Anyone else befuddled by this? Plenty of people are playing both NL600 and NL1000 full ring, so it appears the player base is there to support a number of SH tables at these limits. |

Re: Why no SH 3/6 on Stars?
bump, i have never understood this and I think stars is shooting themselves in the foot by capping the number of shorthanded games at 2 at the 3/6 NL level.

Re: Why no SH 3/6 on Stars?
Maybe if we get enough support in this thread Lee will see it and give us 3/6 and maybe 5/10 SH. I can possibly see not allowing 10/20 SH b/c you don't want people going broke really fast, but 3/6 NL isn't all that high. In addition, they have tons of 10/20 limit 6-max tables, where's the NL love?

Re: Why no SH 3/6 on Stars?
Agree 100%
I would also like to see some short handed Omaha and Omaha/8 tables at the higher limits. Surely PokerStars would rake more off 6 max tables than full ring ones so i don't see what the problem is? |

Re: Why no SH 3/6 on Stars?
The best plan is if you (all) mail support@pokerstars.com, because that way the Poker Room Management will certainly read it. Posting on 2 + 2 means they MIGHT read it.
