Default nl50 KK

How do we handle this turn after the flop call. Pots at 30 so I push, the flop is dry, and I know the turn didn't help him. Solid push, or am I just a donk who overplays overpairs??

Turn push looks fine to me, a set seems very unlikely here, I'd expect to be called by something like KQ or AQ.

Without a read I don't see anything wrong with it but if you think you have him beat your push would be to protect your hand...are we really that scared of the 6 outer with AQ...unless it's AQs? If you're looking to get it all in, wouldn't a 1/2 pot set up the river push better?

Perfectly fine. Don't be results oriented.

Against Random Q. Villan, I'd say a set of 8s or 4s is more likely here than AQ or KQ. Could also be a donktastic QJ that sucked out on river.

This is a very dry board, so there is no need to push the turn to protect your hand if you are ahead. After he flat calls your flop check-raise (why not lead out?), I'm trying to get to showdown as cheaply as possible. I think checking the turn is the best play here- you already check raised him on the flop, so he will be wary of betting into you again unless he has a strong hand. If he checks behind, the river then becomes an easy value bet for however much you think he will call. If you check and he makes a meaningful bet, this becomes a fold.
