Default What would you do here?

Hey guys. this was from a full ring game, but I just want your info, cause I like you more than regular small stakes.

UTG raiser is a tight raiser. Probably AA-JJ and AKs and AKo.

UTG raises, UTG1 cold calls, UTG2 cold calls, ILOVEPOKER cold calls, I'm in MP3 with 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] what do you do?

This is at a 10 player table.

Everyone is loose/passive.

Fold. You are only getting 4:1 on a call and the implied odds are not nearly as attractive as they would be making this call from the blinds. You know you are behind and won't catch up often enough to be worthwhile. I would call here with pocket pairs and suited connectors.

You guys obviously don't play motor city poker at 5-10.

I forgot to mention, I don't play at MCC to make money, I play to gamble, and have fun. And ILP called, so I have to call here.

And mr. _____ I'm going to get like 7-1 before it's all over, because all these ppl do is cold call.

The real point of my post though, what suited 1 gapper would you cold call with? How low would you go here?

That makes this a pretty easy call.

42s isn't a one gapper in terms of connectedness - it doesn't make as many straights as 75 or J9.

LOL, well it sounds like you should be playing these tables for money, because it sounds very profitable. Especially with a spew monkey like ILP at the table.

I played at Greektown back in December and it didn't seem quite this loose.

I think it is a tricky situation. I fear that the J9-KJ hands have a big high card domination problem while those low end suited one gappers need to worry about higher flush and ass end str8 problems.

Actually it may not matter much where we are on the scale as long as one is capable of playing well postflop. A big part of which is being able to get away from the hand when necessary.

42s should be looked at as similar to 52s.
