donkey called w/ K8, but w/e...

anyone make this play? if not, what type of read would you need to do so... would you rather villain be a donk or a good multitabler? Or is this just too [censored] stupid?

Sometimes, if he raises a lot.

I'd be less likely to do this against a donk than a solid players. A solid player will fold to your resteal more often than a donk and I don't really want a showdown if I am restealing.

Unless this guy was consistantly minraising, not with A8 offsuit. I like reraising with 99+ AQ+ in this spot when you are in a solid 4th with that many smaller stacks who can't wait to give their chips away.

I could push this, but then again, I'm not handling resteals very well right now...

I'd for sure rather have him being a solid player who knows when to lay down a hand than a donk who calls with most hands.

I would only do this if I'd been making notes like "aggressive, sneaky %*!%@#, stealing (#*@(@".

Bad players won't even realize what you're doing. Good players who steal your blinds all the time are, deep down inside, waiting for someone to catch them and teach them some limits.
