Badugi hand ranking
I can't seem to figure this out from the FAQ's links...
Do the 'unused' cards in a players hand have any effect on a hands' value? For example, suppose there are 3 players to the showdown holding respectively: Ac 2d 3s 2s Ad 2h 3c 3d As 2c 3h Qh so everyone is playing the 3 card hand A23. Do they all tie? green_tea |

Re: Badugi hand ranking
That's a tie too sweetjazz. If you have a suited card or pair card you basically just take it out of the hand altogether and have a 3 card hand. Don't be confused by pairs or suited cards, just ignore them entirely.

For example A23x triple suited would lose to AAAA. That would make the action outstanding, and also change the dynamic for a winning player's decision process. Another idea was to play Baduggi high-low, but thats a bit silly IMHO. TT [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] |
