How to upload Hand Histories in WPX?
Hi, I know this has probably been answered before, but I searched for a while on the forum and I couldn't find the answer I wanted.
How would I go about uploading hand histories (WPEX)if I don't have a POP account, I tried downloading them and uploading as txt but that won't work. I'm sorry, I am new to Poker Tracker as well, so I'm not really sure how it works. |

Re: How to upload Hand Histories in WPX?
I use Hotmail.
It's a bit cumbersome, but this is what I do: Ask the Site for the last 100 hands. (I keep an eye on the Stats to let me know how many hands I've played.) Copy/paste to notepad, (it's important to have Hotmail's line width set to 132 characters, and notepad set without Word Wrap); delete the unnecessary e-mail lead-ins and -outs; and save the file to Desktop. Click Import hand histories in PT. Click Select Files To Import. Navigate to the saved file. Click OK. That's it. Please feel free to tell me if I can miss out any of these steps. |

Re: How to upload Hand Histories in WPX?
Use the "Utilities" option in PT and select "Auto request hand histories". Use this option for the initial set-up, and everytime thereafter to autorequest/autoimport. You do not have to manually request hand histories each time.
I don't think this will work if you're using email for hand histories from other sites simultaneously, but all other sites I play on have the files saved to the hard drive, so this shouldn't be an issue. Edited to add: when the auto-request is triggered by PT, you will have 2 pop-up boxes appear. Unfortunately, you must click "OK" on one of the pop-ups to actually submit the request each time; the second pop-up is the stats box and you can just close. Al |

Re: How to upload Hand Histories in WPX?
Get a g-mail account, it can act as a POP account.
I thought everyone already had one by now. If you need an invite I suppose I could give one. |

Re: How to upload Hand Histories in WPX?
Hotmail is a lot of hassle, I also had problems with another emailprovider. Then I read about bluebottle.com on here. I use it now and it works perfectly. Put Pokertracker to autorequest hands and autoimport from your mailserver.

Re: How to upload Hand Histories in WPX?
I would get a POP3 account. Without one you're going to have to do a lot of manual work like Mike suggested. If you have one everything is almost completely automatic.

Re: How to upload Hand Histories in WPX?
Okay, I set up my POP3 gmail account and configured the setting on my PokerTracker (which detected the server), then I requested 100 hands from WPX, recieved it in the mail, but when I do AUTO-import (auto-request) in my pokertracker, it doesn't seem to find any of my hand histories? Am I doing something wrong? This is my first time using pokertracker as well as POP3, and I am new to WPX as well. !
