Default I need a fast car under $30K. Give me some choices.

When I was 16 years old my dad decided he would buy me a car. My limit was $20K, so my choices were pretty limited. I like fast cars, and the closest thing I could get to that for the price range was a brand new Mustang. He denied me the GT, so I got the V6 with the manual transmission. It's now 7 years old and it's time for a new one.

So far I've found a few cars that I like in my price range, but nothing ideal. There's the new Mustang GTs, but they're a little bulky for my current taste. I'm looking more for a sports car than a muscle car. I also like the Nissan 350z's, but they're two-seaters and I would prefer something with a back seat. Tonight I saw a Lexus IS250 so I came home and looked it up, but it seems a little weak for my taste (2.5L V6, 204 HP). There's a more powerful edition, but is only available in automatic transmissions, a deal breaker. The BMWs are a little too pricey.

Anyone have anything to suggest? Like I said, I want something fast, sporty, manual, and preferably with a back seat (2 door or 4 door is fine). So far my favorite is the 350z, but I want more options. Help me out OOT car experts.

Mazda SPEED6, 4 dr with 274 HP and AWD, looks sexy IMO.

Not really the look I'm into, but I'll give it some consideration.

Also, just in case I have a nice month at the tables, let's consider cars in the mid to low 30s also.
