Asking out a girl from EB Games: possible trip report if I follow thro

Ok, these threads kind of suck as they're usually no brainers. However, I've only made one similiar to this one a few months back (unfortunately, I pussied out and never even spoke with the girl). Hopefully OOT will be lenient and also give me some good advice.

Let me just begin by saying that I have no game at all. Last time I went on a date was probably never.

So anyways last weekend, my buddy and I were bored so we headed down to the local EB games to get a PC game. There were two girls working the counter; one was hefty and the other one was surprisingly very cute. The cute one was VERY into gaming and you can call her a nerd. She was wearing a Legend of Zelda T-shirt and telilng me that she does LAN parties or whatever nerds do.

We needed some help deciding which game to buy so my first line to them was: "Excuse me, are you to avid gamers?" After that, I was doing the "cocky/funny" making light fun of them (mostly the Zelda girl) about nerdy gamers etc.

My buddy and I could no decide which game to buy so we decided to go back home, look online, grab a bite to eat and then go back to buy a game. At this point, I realized that this girl was really cute and you don't find too many nerdy cute girls so that's a huge turn on. I decided to pull a George Costanza and do the opposite of what I normally do and I was going to ask her out. I was conflicted though because I didn't know how old she was. She could pass anywhere from 15-20? I did not want to ask out a really young girl

When we arrived back at EB games, it was only the hefty girl who was working. There was a picture drawn on the desk and I asked the heffer if she drew it. She said the other girl did but she's off now. So i asked the heffer: "Btw, how old is this other girl?"

The heffer responded with an eyebrow raise and a "ooooh you like her" type of facial expression. Of course, I denied that and pretended like I just wanted to know how old she was. She's apparently 20 which is good.

So now it's the weekend again and I want to ask out this girl for coffee. OOT:

1. Is it lame to just go back again to ask out the girl and do nothing else? I really have no reason to go back.

2. How should I approach this? Just KISS - Keep it simple stupid? "Would you like to go for coffee?"

3. Should I just give up because i'm obvoiusly making a lame post so I obviously have no balls?

Cliff notes: Went to EB games last weekend. Very cute nerdy girl was working. Went back home to decide what game to buy and wanted to ask her out. Went back, she wasn't there. Is it lame to go back to ask her out a week later and if it isn't, how should I do it? Should I just give up 'cause I suck?

No you weren't. These type of posts give the "seduction community" a bad rep, and perpetuate the idea that the entirety of such community are never-get-laid, try-hard losers (when in actuality, some of the people are legitimate, cool people.)

Well I'm not one to sugar coat anything and I was being quite honest when I said I have no game. But if there's one thing that I am good at (might be the only thing I'm good at socially) is being sarcastic and lightly making fun of situations/the other person to make them laugh. Both the heffer and the Zelda girl were both laughing, and hardly when I was talking to them.

Sorry that it's taken me 3 posts to actually give you some advice; there are just some glaring errors (in your life) in your post.

You obviously think she is cute. So ask her out already. Most likely, you will fail. But soon you will succeed. Most of what "game" consists of is just being honest and upfront with your desires in a confident and collected way. By the way, it was already clear to the store-clerk that you were interested in the 'other' girl; there's no use in denying it, and only makes you look like a wimpy loser.

Ok, let's just forget about the seduction community please! I don't read those sites but I do know what girls usually want (and a "funny/cocky" guy is usually part of the package). Obviously if I had other parts of the package, I wouldn't be making this thread here today.

But please, enough with that seduction community stuff as it was not my intention to bring that in!

Seriosuly dude, being outgoing and personable are things some people are good at and some people aren't.
