Default So I read NL theory and practice and dropped 8 buyins.

Took my only 3 hours. Although half the loss is attributed to 3 bad beats I still hate D.S.

You shouldn't play poker while you're reading.

I guess Sklansky's imaginary number-crunching ("your opponent will fold 27% of the time, raise 42% of the time, and timeout from reading BBV 31% of the time) didn't help your game much.

You would have lost the same amount in one hour if you hadn't read the book.

My worst session was 3 buyins before reading NL T&P all in about 120,000 hands of NL.

I didn't even think I was doing very bad until I looked at my account at the end of the session. I never really got stacked except for the 3 times I got all in on flop and lost to 2 outers all three times on turn. I was just wittled away without knowing it.

Didn't you get the message that NL T&P is just a decoy for the fish to read
