11$ Speed: Standard Push?
PartyPoker Speed Tournament, Big Blind is t200 (6 handed) Converter on pregopoker.com
UTG (t3508) UTG+1 (t7574) Hero (t1477) Button (t3553) SB (t948) BB (t2940) Preflop: Hero is in CO with 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, Hero raises to t1477 Table is quite tight, my table image should be TAG. The reason why I was hesitating to push was the small stack in SB. He went allin the last hand defending his BB with K9s. The pot was splitted. When I get called my table image is damaged even if I win. In later hands I'll need to have better hands to push. So what are your thoughts? EDIT: What I forgot to mention: The blinds increase within the next 45 sec. Thanks Ralph |

Re: 11$ Speed: Standard Push?
"In later hands I'll need to have better hands to push. " This is completely wrong. You need a better hand to push in that spot now. Late with and M of 2-4 it doesn't matter what hand you have to push.
