when is the right time?
when is the right time to push with ANY two cards??? don't have sngpt yet, I seeking for a general idea because I'm totally clue-less with this concept.

when it is profitable...
so say you have a stack x then there's like the blinds, or the dead chips, or whatever, and they are y let the brackets {} denote assigning a value to your stack, whatever it is and you think that by pushing with whatever, they will all fold w% of the time and if you get called, you've probably got a z% chance of winning the hand it's the w and the z that basically control everything. and to a lesser extent v. if they are great enough for the following statement to be true with any hand, then you are in a push any two spot: if the value of your current stack is less than (w)({x+y})+(1-w)(z)({some number between 2x and 2x+y, depending} basically you should push the idea is that basically every time you're pushing you should be thinking about that forumula. sometimes some of the factors in that formula heavily outweigh the other factors, sometimes not. but when for all hands it is true that the second term is > value of your current stack, then clearly you should be moving all in with any two cards. or something like that. |
