Default (11 Speed) Heads up hand - flop Royal Flush

I feel I played this hand very poorly, and I think I could have ended the tourny right here if played differently...

(Also, how do you get the converter to work for pokertracker hands?)

Seat 4: Hero(9823)
Seat 9: Villain (10177)

Villain posts small blind (300)
Hero posts big blind (600)

Dealt to Hero [ Js, Qs ]
Villain raises (900) to 1200
Hero calls (600)
** Dealing Flop ** : [ As, Ks, Ts ] (Pot 2400)
Hero checks.
Villain checks.
** Dealing Turn ** : [ 7h ] (Pot 2400)
Hero bets (600)
Villain calls (600)
** Dealing River ** : [ 5s ] (Pot 3600)
Hero bets (600)
Villain calls (600)

what do you do differently... My thoughts are to make a much larger bet on the river, something like T2000 maybe... maybe just a push? whatcha think? In hindsite the 600 river bet is too small to be worthwhile.

depending on how often guy raises pf HU, I miught push preflop.

1500 on turn.

if he bluffs a lot, check river.
if he calls a lot, 2000 on river.

I think youre mistake was on the turn, because if he is on a draw and misses on the river the hand is over or if he is not on a draw and a obvoius draw like a four flush hits on the river than the hand is over. A pot size turn bet is probably going to get paid off and maybe allow you to almost seal the deal on this hand.

Mis-read action first time around. Your bets are too small. Make more standard 1/2-3/4 pot bets. If you do that on the turn, your river bet can then be that much bigger without seeming weird.

Having said that, you'd improve a lot faster if you'd spend your time thinking about how to better play hands you'll get more than once every couple years.

I might push preflop here. You have to bet more on the turn or river.

the royal flush wasn't the issue here... I was trying to get opinions on how to get more chips when flopping the nuts heads up.

"mistake was on the turn not the river"... that's great advice and makes sense... thx.
