Default ($225) Top two turns into a flush board. Call river?

1st hand. Have played with this opponent once and he was fairly loose. Who calls preflop and who folds? What's your flop play? (I like a big CR to end the hand) Should I block the river? Comments appreciated.

I usually fold AQs to a raise this early.

As for the flop, I like the C/R. MP3's play looks like a flush, so I like check/folding the river.

I would fold since the most you can win is your 300 back.

flop, good
turn, good
river...i can't call it

block? hmmmm, probably not. he's not folding a Th or higher to a similar size lead from you....nor is he betting behind w/o it. check-fold IMO.

Id never fold this PF. I like leading flop for 3/4, b/c you can get extra action from AK's, including ones with no heart. Id fold the river. I dont think I ever use block bets in this sit.

Good preflop, I lead this flop usually with a pot bet. River fold is fine.

At first I think this river is a fold, however.
I think a lot of good flushes are betting the turn, and a lot of mediocre flushes, are checking the river.
I think you need to be right too often for this to be a call seeing as you are calling 220 to win 300. If he bets less or the pot is smaller I can see a fold.

i'd lead the flop. AK will often raise to protect and a lot of guys will go nuts here with the Kh. i'd definitely fold the river. preflop is fine, but i'd probably fold AQo.

I think you played the hand fine though. How many tables did you have open?

I had 5 open. Which is probably why I made a stupid call on the river and saw the K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

The way he played it, though, it was probably going to be K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] or nada.
