Trips, heads up
2-5 NL. Sb has around $350 and I cover. He is rather weak passive.
I open for $25 in Mp with KQ and only villain in SB calls. Flop comes K K 9 rainbow. Check Check. Turn is a 3. SB thinks a little and bets out $50. This is out of character for him but I don't think the 3 hit him. I call. River is a Ten. SB bets out $100 and I... |

Re: Trips, heads up
push - you played it so weakly postflop it is possible he's making a play - your hand is good often enough
hell he may even be trying to 'slowplay' you on the flop w. a worse king |

Re: Trips, heads up
Is he tight as well as weak passive. Then its for sure a call.
If he's loose passive, i raise. It looks like he has a K, what would he call your raise with in SB? Is he calling with KJ, KT??? |

Re: Trips, heads up
Betting out pot on the turn was strange for this player, and I didn't think he'd call pre-flop with K6 or K7, so in my mind I am only ahead of KJ, maybe K8. I called and lost to 99. Normally I just bet the flop and stick it in.

It sounds like this player won't have a hand worse than villains that they will call a push with. |

Re: Trips, heads up
Dont' even think about folding here. You'll get shown all kinds of stuff like AA or Q9.
